This stuff kinda sneaks up on us all, so we wanted to give you a quick reminder and heads up about registering your player for this coming Summer / Fall's football programs.  Current schedule for registering for the Fall Football Season for current 2nd thru 7th grade players is as follows (though subject to slight change upon EPFA board approval):

• April 12:  Registration for 2010 Fall Football opens
• May 22:  Regular registration for 2010 Fall Football closes
• June 11:  Late registration (includes $50 late fee) for 2010 Fall Football closes

Registration for Mike Grant's Summer programs will take place at essentially this same time.  Please note that current 8th graders interested in Fall Football will need to stay in contact with the EP high school in order to be a part of that wonderful program, as we "graduate" you from our EPFA program to that one run by Mike Grant's program at the school.

We hope you are having a great off-season, and are looking forward to getting back on to the Eagles gridiron!  GO EAGLES!

Again, we want to thank you for your input to our annual survey, if indeed you did share your responses with us.  Please know that all of your responses were fully anonymous -- we have no means by which we are able to (nor do we want to) track the origin of your responses.  We respect your right to this anonymity, and suspect that this trusted approach will continue to encourage your feedback on future surveys.

The consolidated results of the 2009 survey are now available on our website at http://www.edenprairiefootball.com, clicking then on the Survey Results option along the left-side menu to bring you to the survey results page, from where you can open the desired PDF document.

Please know that each comment and rating provided is valuable to us.  For those comments that are specific to a grade-level and/or to a coach, our intention is for that grade commissioner to communicate appropriately with each coach that specific team's feedback in a positive and constructive manner.

All comments and ratings are reviewed by all members of the Executive Committee (Jay Hansen, Joe McNiff, Bob Martinka and Keith Lunde) to ensure full visibility of responses, compliance by the grade-level commissioners, and so that appropriate follow-through takes place to the coaches' level.  Certainly improvements are made to our program and to the coaching selection and education process, based upon your feedback.

Eden Prairie football players concluded their 8^th grade 2009 season by dominating the Gopher State Football Championship.  The team outscored their opponents 70-0 in the tournament.
