The Eden Prairie Youth Sports Associations are proud sponsors of EAGLE-POWER!
EAGLE-POWER is a 3-part integrated speed, agility and strength introduction program designed specifically for youth athletes in the 6th 7th and 8th grades. It will allow them the ability to become proficient in the “age-appropriate” elements of the EPHS Strength & Conditioning program.
EAGLE-SPEED/AGILITY; will focus on the speed, agility and the development of overall efficient athletic movement.
EAGLE-STRENGTH; will focus on the basic “age-appropriate” strength training principals, teaching proper form and technique of weight lifting and strength development.
EAGLE-POWERprograms will be directed by Blake Freese, Head Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Eden Prairie athletic programs. Blake is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength Coaches Association (NSCA). He is a former EP All-Conference and collegiate All-Conference football player, who was also a member of ESPN’s collegiate Academic All-America Team. Coach Freese has a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences, Sports Management, and will complete his Master’s in Sports Performance, Biomechanics in May 2019.

WHEN: April 8th - June 3rd, 4:30pm-5:30pm. EAGLE-POWER will meet Wednesdays in the EPHS weight room. Drop off and pick up can be done at the activities center entrance.
NEEDS: Athletic gear, water bottle, team-oriented attitude!
COST: $95 (11 sessions)
HOW TO REGISTER: Register and pay through the EPFA website. Email coach Freese to confirm and mail to Eden Prairie High School activities office (ATTN: Blake Freese/Eagle SPEED & POWER) at the address above. You can also bring the forms on the first day (NO ATHLETE will be able to participate until form is in).
