EAGLE-POWER is a 2-part integrated speed and strength introduction program designed specifically for youth football players in the 7th and 8th grades. It will allow them the ability to become proficient in the “age-appropriate” elements of the EPHS Strength & Conditioning program.
EAGLE-SPEED/AGILITY; will focus on the speed, agility and the development of overall efficient athletic movement.
EAGLE-STRENGTH; will focus on the basic “age-appropriate” strength training principals, teaching proper form and technique of weight lifting and strength development.
EAGLE-POWER programs will be directed by Blake Freese (CSCS), the new Head Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Eden Prairie football program. Blake is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength Coaches Association (NSCA). He is a former EP All-Conference and collegiate All-Conference football player, who was also a member of ESPN’s collegiate Academic All-America Team.

WHEN: November 30th – February 22nd, 4:30pm-5:30pm. EAGLE-POWER will meet Friday’s in the EPHS weight room. Drop off and pick up can be done at the activities center entrance.
PLEASE NOTE: There will be NO EAGLE-POWER 12/28 & 1/25
WHO: 7th & 8th grades (MAX capacity of 20 players)
NEEDS: Athletic gear, water bottle, team-oriented attitude!
HOW TO REGISTER: Sign up and pay through the EPFA website. Then, Fill out the registration form and email coach Freese and mail to Eden Prairie High School activities office (ATTN: Blake Freese/Eagle SPEED & POWER) at the address above. You can also bring the forms on the first day (NO ATHLETE will be able to participate until form is in).
